Setting the target range

You can enter your personal target range for blood glucose values (default setting: Off). Test results above
this target range are flagged with the symbol
symbol
.
The target range comprises the blood glucose values which should be achieved if the therapy is optimal.
Consult your healthcare professional for the target range appropriate for you.
You set the target range by entering the lower and upper limits. The lower limit can be set to between 2.8
and 5.5 mmol/L. The upper limit can be set to between 5.5 and 11.1 mmol/L. Both limits can be set in
steps of 0.1 mmol/L.

If you want to use the lower limit of the target range as an indicator of a possible hypoglycaemia (low
blood glucose), it is important to remember the following: The indicator is only reliable if the limit has
been properly selected. We therefore strongly recommend that you only set the limit in consultation
with your healthcare professional. This function is not a substitute for hypoglycaemia training by your
healthcare professional or diabetes team.
