To silence the ringer:
Basic handset operation

Press the number key corresponding to
the flashing line number.
When a headset is plugged into the
handset, press any key other than Power
On/Start Call, Power Off/End Call, soft
keys or the side buttons.
Press the
Power Off/End Call
sure to do this at the end of each call.
While in the active state, press the

buttons to increase or
decrease the volume of the speaker.
Note: As the volume is adjusted, the
setting is shown in a small bar graph on
the display. The volume setting is
retained between calls as well as when
the set is powered off.

when the handset is ringing. This
function does not interrupt the call and
the caller can leave a voicemail
message.
