SYSTEM FUNCTIONS

2 Making system connections between the AVR-M330 and the DVD player (DVD-M330) makes operation even easier. (For instructions on
connections, refer to "Connecting the audio components" on pages 14.)
2 System functions will not work properly if the input/output function settings are not right for the connected components. Be sure to set the
input/output functions for the components being used. (See page 28.) The setting contents are maintained until they are next changed even
when the power is switched off.
(1) Auto power on function
• When the play button on the DVD unit (
standby mode, the DVD-M330 and AVR-M330's power turns on automatically, and if a disc is loaded in the DVD-M330 the disc is played.

(2) Auto function selection
• At the touch of a button, the function switches automatically to
"DVD" and disc playback begins.
