About the Effects

The RP300 can be thought of as several different "virtual" amplifiers
and individual, hi-tech stomp boxes in a single programmable
package.With stomp boxes, the order in which they are connected
can drastically affect the overall sound quality.The RP300 has placed
the Effects in an order for optimum sound quality.The following
diagram shows the order of the effects contained in the RP300.

Effect Definitions

Each Effect within the RP300 can be programmed to suit your
personal taste and application. Understanding how these Effects will
alter the sound, and how each Parameter will alter the Effect will
help you achieve the sound you are looking for.The following
overview of the RP300's Effects outlines what each Effect and
Parameter does.

Pickup/Wah

The Pickup Simulator provides the thick tone of a humbucker
pickup to a guitar with single coil pickups, or the bright edgy sound
of a single coil pickup to a guitar with a humbucker.This allows you
to have the best of both worlds without having to change guitars
during a performance.
AWah is an effect controlled by the Expression Pedal. As the
Expression Pedal is rocked back and forth, it makes the guitar sound
as if it is saying "Wah." The Wah is engaged and disengaged by
applying pressure to the V-Switch located under the toe of the
Expression Pedal. See Page 19 for more information regarding the V-
Switch.
Pickup On/Off - The Number 1 Knob turns the Pickup simulator
on (ON) and off (OF).
Pickup Type -The Number 2 Knob selects the type of Pick Up to
be be simulated.Values include: SC>HUM (Gives a
single coil pick up the warm tone of a humbucker),
and HUM>SC (Gives a humbucker the unique sound
of a single coil).
Wah Type - The Number 3 Knob selects the type of Wah.Values
include: CRY (Cry Wah is a traditional sounding Wah),
BOUTIQ (Boutique Wah is a wide sweeping Wah with
a more modern sound) and FULRNG (Full Range Wah
sweeps the entire spectrum of audible frequencies).
Wah Minimum - The Number 4 Knob is used to select the
minimum point the Wah will reach in the toe up
position of the Expression Pedal. Ranges from 1
to 99.
Wah Maximum - The Number 5 Knob is used to select the
maximum point the Wah will reach in the toe
down position of the Expression Pedal. Ranges
from 1 to 99.

Acerca de los Efectos

Puede imaginarse el RP300 como varios amplificadores "virtuales" distintos
y pedales de efectos individuales de alta tecnología en un único paquete
integrado. Con los pedales de efectos, el orden en el que los conecte puede

Definiciones de los efectos

Cada efecto del RP300 puede ser programado para adaptarlo a sus
gustos y aplicaciones
particulares. El comprender cómo afectarán estos efectos al sonido y
la forma en que cada parámetro afecta al efecto le ayudará a
conseguir los sonidos que busca. El siguiente resumen de los efectos
del RP300 describe lo que hace cada uno de ellos y sus parámetros.

Pastilla/Wah

El Simulador de pastilla le permite conseguir el sonido grueso de
una pastilla doble con una guitarra con pastillas simples, o el sonido
brillante de una pastilla sencilla con una guitarra que tenga una
humbucker. Esto hace que tenga lo mejor de los dos mundos sin
tener que cambiar de guitarras durante su actuación.
El Wah es un efecto controlado por el pedal de expresión. Cuando
mueve el pedal hacia delante y atrás, esto hace que el sonido de la
guitarra haga "Wah". El wah se activa y desactiva aplicando presión al
interruptor V que está situado debajo de la puntera del pedal de
expresión.Vea la página 19 para más información acerca de este
interruptor V.
Pickup On/Off - El mando número 1 activa el simulador de
pastilla (on) o lo desactiva (off).
Tipo pastilla - El mando número 2 elige el tipo de pastilla
simulada. Los valores incluyen: SC>HUM (Hace que
una pastilla sencilla tenga el sonido cálido de una
humbucker) y HUM>SC (Le da a las pastillas dobles
el sonido único de una pastilla sencilla).
Tipo de wah - El mando número 3 elige el tipo de wah. Los
posibles valores son: CRY (El Cry Wah es el efecto
wah tradicional), BOUTIQ (El Boutique Wah tiene
un barrido más amplio con un sonido más
moderno) y FULRNG (El wah de rango amplio
barre todo el espectro de frecuencias audibles).
Wah mínimo – El mando número 4 se usa para elegir el punto
mínimo que alcanzará el Wah en la posición de
talón abajo del pedal de expresión. El rango va de
1 a 99.
Wah máximo – El mando número 5 se usa para elegir la
posición máxima que alcanzará el efecto Wah en la
posición de puntera abajo del pedal. El rango va
