Emails containing phone number strings
If an email contains a phone number string, the IP Phone 1535 can either
use the number string as a phonebook entry or in returning a phone call to
the sender.

SMTP Server
•
Receiving Protocol: Select either POP or IMAP as the
receiving protocol of the IP Phone 1535 E-mail service. Set to
the POP protocol by default.

POP Server/IMAP Server: Depending on the Receiving
Protocol accepted, define the POP or IMAP server address
information.
•
User/Account: Specifies whether the configured E-mail service
belongs to a specific User or is a general (shared) E-mail
account.
•
User Information: Configure user-specific information on the
IP Phone 1535 E-mail service by means of the User Information
configuration option, User Name and Email Address.
Select OK to confirm any entries made.
Example
An email is received that contains the phone number string 4024532022
in the message body. When the email is finished downloading to the IP
Phone 1535, the user can either select User number to automatically
return the call to the email sender at 4024532022 or add a new contact
using that number.
