The latch motor assembly includes a microswitch that is activated by
the motor cam to signal the latch hook position to the control module
Mounting Screws
(Shoto A).
This switch is referred to as the Lock Switch on the wiring diagram and
schematic. When the cam on the latch motor depresses the plunger on
WKH PLFURVZLWFK WKH FRQWDFWV LQ WKH VZLWFK DUH FORVHG

To DFFHVV WKH latch motor assembly VOLGH WKH UDQJH DZD\ IURP WKH ZDOO
DQG remove the lower wire shield on the UHDU of the range. Disconnect the
wires to the latch motor and to WKH PLFURVZLWFK

The entire assembly can now be removed from the range.
To reinstall, tilt the latch motor assembly upward and guide the end
of the rod into the motor cam. Secure the assembly in place with the
PRXQWLQJ VFUHZV DQG UHFRQQHFW WKH ZLUHV WR WKH VZLWFK DQG PRWRU
