Purchase Epson Cartridges
You can purchase genuine Epson ink cartridges from an Epson authorized reseller. To find the
nearest reseller, call your nearest Epson sales office. See Getting More Help.
Purchase genuine Epson cartridges and use them within six months of installing them and before
the expiration date on the cartridge box. When you purchase new ink, use the following Epson ink
cartridge numbers:
For Heavy Use
73H Black
73 Cyan
73 Magenta
73 Yellow
Note:
We recommend that you use genuine Epson cartridges and do not refill them. The use of other
products may affect your print quality and could result in printer damage.
The printer ships with full cartridges and part of the ink from this first set of cartridges is used for
charging the printer.
Store ink cartridges in a cool, dark place. If you bring them inside from out in the cold, allow them
to warm up to room temperature for at least 3 hours before using them.
Leave your old cartridges in the Epson Stylus CX7300 Series until you are ready to replace them
to prevent the print head nozzles from drying out.
Yields vary considerably based on images printed, print settings, paper type, frequency of use and
temperature. For print quality, a variable amount of ink remains in the cartridge after the
"replacement cartridge" indicator comes on.
Replace Cartridges Using the Printer Sofware Utility
For best printing results, use up a cartridge within six months of opening the package. If you need
to replace a cartridge when the
Replacement utility (Windows only).
1. Windows : Right-click the
