    ■ Controlar o processo de cópia no computador utilizando o Copy Utility ™ (Utilitário de cópia) do EPSON Smart Panel (página 11). Posicionamento do original no vidro 1. Abra a tampa de documentos e coloque o original voltado para baixo sobre o vidro, alinhado com o canto superior esquerdo.
  • Page 9 Caso seja necessário copiar ou escanear um documento grande ou espesso, pode-se remover a tampa do scanner. Basta abri-la e puxá-la para cima. Se for necessário pressionar o documento para que ele fique liso durante a cópia ou escaneamento, não aplique muita força e tenha cuidado para não movê-lo. Cuidado: Não exerça muita força sobre a tampa de documentos nem a gire na diagonal.

    Limpeza do cabeçote de impressão Se os resultados de impressão tornarem-se inesperadamente claros ou desbotados, ou se a impressão apresentar faixas claras ou escuras, talvez seja necessário limpar o cabeçote. Esse procedimento desobstrui os jatos, permitindo assim a passagem correta da tinta. Execute a verificação de jatos como descrito na página 32 para ver se o cabeçote precisa de limpeza.

    Deixe o cartucho vazio instalado até adquirir o de substituição, caso contrário a tinta remanescente nos jatos do cabeçote de impressão poderá secar.     Loading Paper Follow the steps below to load letter-size or 4 × 6-inch (10 × 15 cm) paper in your Epson Stylus CX3500/CX4500. (See the Reference Guide for instructions on loading other types of media.) 1. Open the paper support and output tray, then slide out the extensions.

    Printing From a Memory Card (CX4500 only) The CX4500 lets you print photos directly from your digital camera’s memory card; just put the card into the CX4500’s memory card slot and you’re ready to print. If your digital camera supports DPOF (Digital Print Order Format), you can pre- select the photos you want to print while the card is still in the camera.

    Cleaning the Print Head If your printouts are unexpectedly light or faint, or you notice light or dark bands across your printout, you may need to clean the print head. This unclogs the nozzles so they can deliver ink properly. Run a nozzle check as described on page 30 to see if the print head needs cleaning.

    To ensure good results, use genuine Epson ink cartridges and do not refill them. Other products may cause damage to your Stylus CX not covered by Epson’s warranty.
