About Installation Procedure

Please find the installation procedure suited to your environment from the following:

— Parallel Port Connection

Available for:
When this equipment is connected to your computer with a printer cable, you can install the
printer drivers from the Client Utilities CD-ROM and set up the printer connection with LPT1 port.

Parallel printing is available only when the optional Parallel Interface is installed.
This equipment cannot connect to the same computer with both Parallel and USB at a same
time.

— USB Connection

Available for:
This equipment supports the Full Speed connection. When this equipment is connected to your
computer with the USB cable, you must install the printer drivers using the Windows Plug and
Play functions.
