Basic Menu Operations

This section explains basic operations for
the operation menus.
B, b, V, v buttons
Moves the cursor left, right, up, and down
for selecting menu items, and configures
setting values.
SET button
Confirms selected items.
CANCEL button
Returns to the previous screen.
HOME button
Returns to the main menu.

Menu List

BROWSE HDD menu

Allows you to play back clips using a
connected camcorder or recorder. A list of
partitions appears when you select this,
allowing you to select the partition on
which the clips for playback are stored.

CONNECT TO PC menu

Allows you to play back and edit clips using
a connected computer. Select whether to
access data from the HDD cartridge or SxS
memory card.

BROWSE SxS menu

Allows you to perform operations related to
SxS memory cards.
CLIP INFO: Display a list of clips that
are stored on the inserted SxS memory
card.
DELETE SxS: Delete data stored on
an SxS memory card.

SETUP menu

HDD SET menu
Allows you to configure settings and
perform operations related to the HDD.
SET PARTITION: Select the number
of partitions to use.
DELETE COPY: Delete copied data
on the HDD cartridge. To delete data,
select the date and time of copy.
FORMAT HDD: Format the HDD.
You can select the number of partitions
to separate the HDD into (1 or 3).
OTHERS menu
CLOCK SET: Set the date and time
for the internal clock.
COPY OPTION: Select the copy
method. You can select whether to
perform verification during data
copying.
• COPY ONLY
Verification is not performed during
data copying.
• COPY & VERIFY
Verification is performed during
data copying. Copying takes longer
than when COPY ONLY is selected.
LANGUAGE: Select the language in
which messages are displayed
(English/Japanese/Chinese).
ALL RESET: Return all settings to
their factory default settings.
FIRMWARE menu
Displays the current firmware version, and
allows you to update.
FIRMWARE: Displays the current
firmware version.
UPDATE: Update the firmware. This
appears when there is a valid firmware
update file stored in the root directory
of an SxS memory card.
