7.2.4 Third Party DDNS

Third Party DDNS: This page allows user to define his own DDNS. User needs to
configure Username, Password and Host Information.

7.2.5 UPNP Settings

UPNP: UPNP stands for universal plug and play, if you started UPNP, once the IP
camera was connected into the LAN, it will communicate with the router of the LAN. It will
request the router to open a port to forward its own port. User doesn't need to log in the
router to set the port forwarding.
Before using UPNP function, please make sure the router's UPNP function has
been triggered. Because there are so many different routers, and not all of them
can support UPNP. Please test if the router work well with the equipment, if not, we
would suggest you don't enable this function.
