    Preface The network disk recorders WJ-NV300K and WJ-NV300K/G (hereinafter, recorders) are designed for use within a surveillance system, and record images/audio from up to 32 network cameras (hereinafter, cameras) on the hard disk drives. Number of cameras to be used in the system (9 cameras in basic system) can be increased to 16, 24 and 32 (maximum) by purchasing the Additional Camera Kit (WJ-NVE30, WJ-NVE30W).

    Depending on descriptions, the model name of this recorder may be omitted as "NV300" in the manuals and on the setup. The screens used in these operating instructions show the case in which WJ-NV300K is used and 16 cameras are connected.

    Connection of extension units Up to 2 extension units (optional) can be connected with a single network disk recorder. Connect the recorder and the extension unit using the connection cable provided with the extension unit. Connect the extension units (WJ-HDE400) as shown in the illustration below.
