This page includes the following settings:
Enable Radio
Enables the wireless section of your LAN. When disabled, no wireless clients can have access
to either the Internet or other clients on your wired or wireless LAN.
Radio Band
Allows you to select the band of your wireless network. The PS1 10 can operate in the 2.4 GHz
band (for 802.1 1b/g/n) or the 5 GHz band (for 802.1 1a/n). The PS1 10 does not support
concurrent operation at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
Radio Mode
For 2.4 GHz, the PS1 10 supports 802.1 1b, 802.1 1g, and 802.1 1n wireless standards. This
option allows the user to select whether the router will operate in 802.1 1b/g mode, 802.1 1b/g/
n mode, or 802.1 1n mode only.
For 5 GHz, the PS1 10 supports 802.1 1a and 802.1 1n wireless standards. This option allows the
user to select whether the router will operate in 802.1 1a only mode, 802.1 1n only mode, or
802.1 1a/n mode.
Select a 2.4 GHz radio mode.
1 1b/g Mixed: (Compatibility mode.) Up to 1 1 Mbps for 802.1 1b and 54 Mbps for
802.1 1g.
1 1b/g/n Mixed: (Compatibility mode.) Up to 1 1 Mbps for 802.1 1b, 54 Mbps for
802.1 1g, and 450 Mbps for 802.1 1n. If support for 802.1 1b/g is not required, it is
recommended that you choose the 802.1 1n-only mode.
1 1n only: (Pure 802.1 1n) Up to 450 Mbps.
Select a 5 GHz radio mode.
1 1a only: (Pure 802.1 1a) Up to 54 Mbps.
1 1n only: (Pure 802.1 1n) Up to 450 Mbps.
1 1a/n Mixed: (Compatibility mode.) Up to 450 Mbps for 802.1 1n and 54 Mbps for
802.1 1a.
Channel
To change the wireless channel that the router uses, select the required channel from the
Channel list. When you select Auto, the router searches and selects a channel with the least
amount of interference. Click Save to save the setting.
Current Channel
When the channel setting is Auto, this displays the automatically selected channel number.
Bandwidth
A single channel bandwidth is 20 MHz. When two channels are bonded the bandwidth is a
total of 40 MHz. It is possible to use either 20 MHz or 40 MHz channels with 802.1 1n.
20 MHz: A single channel bandwidth is 20 MHz.
20/40 MHz: When two channels are bonded the bandwidth is a total of 40 MHz.
