If you want to change the standard setting:
• Press the > button (3). The amount input starts to blink.
• Turn the Control button (2) until the desired amount blinks.
• Press the > button (3). The foam percentage input starts to blink.
• Turn the Control button (2) until the desired number blinks.
• The settings are saved by pressing the Exit button (4).
• Press the Control button once.
• The cup lighting turns on and the appliance froths the milk in your cup.

If the preparation has been started too early or by mistake, the procedure can
be cancelled with the Exit button (4), or some settings can be changed during
the procedure. The changed setting will be displayed as blinking.
Note: The standard settings can be changed according to your taste in the «Settings»
menu point, so that they will no longer have to be adapted in the Main menu (see
Point 3.8).

3.5 Drawing hot water

Turn the Control button (2) to the symbol In the Main menu:
Hot water
The standard factory setting of 150 ml is displayed in the bottom row.
• Place a cup slightly to the left under the outlet (5). Ensure that the cup is large
enough.
• Press the Control button (2) once.
• The cup lighting switches on and hot water runs into the cup.

The quantity can be changed during the preparation by turning the Control
button (2), or can be set to the desired amount previously using the > button
(3) and turning the Control button (2) to the desired amount.

The procedure can be cancelled at any time by pressing the Exit button (4).
3.6 «My coffee»
By programming «My coffee», you have an additional option for preparing exactly the
coffee of your choice with a single press of a button.

We would advise you to first carry out the standard programming according to
your wishes before you prepare the first cup of coffee. Proceed as follows:
Turn the Control button (2) to the symbol in the Main menu:
Settings
• Press the Control button to confirm.
• Turn the Control button to «Coffee recipes» and press to confirm.

• Turn the Control button to «My coffee» and press to confirm.
• A list of the possible types of preparation appears.
• Turn the Control button to the desired type of preparation, and press to confirm.
Depending on the type of preparations that you have selected, a list will appear with
the settings that can be changed:
Espresso: Flavour / My Coffee / Temperature*
Café Crème: Flavour / Total amount / Temperature*
Caffè Lungo: Flavour / Total amount / Temperature*
Cappuccino: Flavour / Total amount / Amount of foam / Temperature*
Latte Macchiato: Flavour / Total amount / Amount of milk / Amount of foam /
Temperature*
* This setting only appears if the «Temperature» menu point has been programmed to «individual» in the
«Settings» list (see Point 4.3).
• You should now proceed with the programming of each setting, as described in
Chapter 3.8 from «Flavour» onwards.
• Once you have adapted each setting to your requirements, you can return to the
Main menu again with the Exit button (4).
Turn the Control button (2) to the symbol:

My Coffee

The settings that you have made will now appear in the bottom row.
Please note: If your programming for «My coffee» is for «Cappuccino» or «Latte
Macchiato», you must not forget to connect the milk cooler to the appliance with fresh
milk (see Fig. A).
TIP: Dried milk residues are very difficult to remove. You should therefore clean every-
thing thoroughly once it has cooled down! Always follow the instructions in the display
«Rinsing the frother» (see Chapter 5.1).
• Place a cup under the outlet (5).
• Press the Control button (2) once.
• The cup lighting switches on and the appliance prepares the desired coffee.

You can prepare two cups directly, even if the number of cups has been set to
1. Briefly press the Control button (2) twice and place two cups next to each
other under the outlet (5). Two milling cycles are carried out, one after the other.

If it should happen that the water or the coffee beans run out precisely
between the two milling operations, or if the drip trays need to be emptied, this
will be displayed and the second cup of coffee will not be prepared. Follow the
instructions on the display and then press the Control button (2) for the second
cup of coffee.

The process can be cancelled at any time by pressing the Exit button (5).
