On some printouts, an asterisk may appear to identify a 1%
decrease in Sp02; this is not the case. For example, if Sp02 is
98% at 30 seconds, increases to 99% at 37 seconds, and
decreases to 97% at 44 seconds, the printout would show:

SAT 97%
In this case, the asterisk appears to mark a 1% decrease, but
there was actually a 2% drop in Sp02 at 44 seconds (from 99%
to 97%).
Note:
Patient identification cannot be typed in.
