2 Taking pictures

The flash unit has two modes for adjusting the amount of light
produced by the flash: An automatic mode and a manual mode.

Mode dial functions

Use the mode dial to set the output of the flash. The mode dial
has seven positions.
For the auto flash mode there are "-0.5", "AUTO", "+0.5", and
"-1" (green area). For the manual mode there is "FULL", "1/4",
and "1/16".
Setting Description
+0.5 Flash output is 0.5 EV
higher than standard
AUTO.
AUTO Flash output is
automatically adjusted.
-0.5 Flash output is 0.5 EV
lower than standard
AUTO.
-1 Flash output is 1 EV
lower than standard
AUTO.
FULL Full flash output
1/4 1/4 of full flash output
1/16 1/16 of full flash output
Mode and camera settings
Auto flash mode
The camera must be set to a
mode other than manual mode.
*If the camera has a flash
output compensation function,
and flash output compensation
is set both on the camera and
the flash unit, the flash output
compensation amounts will be
combined.

manual for details.
Manual flash mode
The camera must be set to
manual mode.

2 Opnamen maken

De flitser is voorzien van twee standen voor het instellen van
de hoeveelheid licht die de flitser produceert: automatisch
en handmatig.

Functies van de functiekiezer

Stel de flitsintensiteit in met de functiekiezer. De functiekiezer
heeft zeven standen.
Vier standen voor automatisch flitsen: "-0.5", "AUTO", "+0.5" en "-1"
(groene gebied). Drie standen voor handmatig flitsen: "FULL",
"1/4", and "1/16".

+0.5 Flitsintensiteit is 0,5 LW

Modus en camera-instellingen
Automatische flitsen
De camera moet in een andere
stand dan handmatig worden
gezet.
*Als de camera is uitgerust
met een functie voor correctie
van de flitsintensiteit, en
flitscorrectie is zowel op
de camera als de flitser
ingeschakeld, zullen de
hoeveelheden flitscorrectie
worden gecombineerd.

Handmatig flitsen
De camera moet op handmatig
zijn ingesteld.
