    EZN850 This installation guide provides instructions for installing the EZN850 IP Camera. For all other aspects of using this product, please refer to EZN850 User’s Manual, which is available on the CD included in this package. Installation steps 1.     Connect the appropriate power to each model. N/L is used to connect to power in. PE is a ground pin. Two models of 24VAC and 100-240VAC are available as power source of EZN850 camera. N/L and PE apply to 100-240VAC model only.

    EZN850 3. Installation This section will describe, in general terms, how to install the EZN850 camera. Here are the following processes: -Wire and mount the camera. See “3.1 Wire and Mounting”. -Adjust the camera position. See “3.2 Adjusting camera position”.

    EZN850 3.1 Wiring and Mounting 1. Wire internet cable, power cable and Alarm/RS485 cable through the bracket. Note!! Please use Internet cable without RJ45 connector otherwise you cannot go through cable gland. LAN cable Power cable Alarm/RS485 cable 2. Fix the bracket to wall by using 4 screws.
  • Page 11 EZN850 3. Open camera’s back cover: Loose the 2 screws from the back panel cover, then open the back cover. Screws for back panel 4. Take off the cap of cable gland which is under the camera. Power cable (Φ10.3mm)
  • Page 12 EZN850 Note!! The holes of cable gland were plugged by stoppers, please remove the stoppers when you need to use it for connection. 5. Take internet cable, power cable and Alarm/RS485 cable to pass through cable gland, place them into camera housing.

It may damage the camera. • Do not short circuit the power leads and expose the wire when connecting the power supply to the camera.

    EZN850 3.3 Adjusting Vari-focal Lens EZN850 offers a 6~50mm lens that can be motorized controlled. Open camera’s base, a control key is attached at inner side of the base. Detach the control key and use this key for OSD or Lens setting.

    EZN850 5. OSD Configuration Please turn the control key selection switch at the back panel to “OSD” ( Detach the control key and use this key to do OSD setting. Mini joystick The Cursors & mini stick Bring up the General OSD Menu Simply press the mini-joystick to bring up the general OSD menu.

    EZN850 6. Network Connection This section tells you how to do different types of network connections to IP cameras. a. Router or LAN connection This is the most common connection that allows multiples PC to see IP cameras/ video servers in pre-existing LAN through a router.
  • Page 22 EZN850 c. One to one connection from PC to IP camera You can connect directly without switch. However, only the PC connecting to camera can view the IP camera.

    Please install IP utility software from CD before you go through the following process. Please note the following procedures are an example according to EZN850 default values. These values may vary with your network system. Please consult your ISP or network administrators for more detail of network setting reference.
  • Page 24 Mac Address, Machine Name, Machine Type, IP Type, Subnet Mask, Gateway Address, DNS1 Address, and DNS2 Address. c. The IP address of EZN850 will be automatically detected and assigned.     EZN850 7.2 Manually assign an IP address and change network setting a. Instead of clicking "Connect to selected IP" after select IP camera, click "Login". You will be asked to enter Administrator's "User ID" and "Password". In order to make configuration as highest security level, only administrator level is allowed to do network setting.
  • Page 26 After the change is done, press “Set Configuration” to confirm setting. c. Click “Connect to selected IP” and the browser will automatically connect to the EZN850 network page. Note!! Please use Internet Explorer as default Browser.
