PROBLEM
Compressor will not run
Motor hums but cannot run or runs
slowly
Fuses blow/circuit breaker trips
repeatedly

TROUBLESHOOTING

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Switch is in OFF position
No electrical power at wall outlet

Motor overheated, overlolad protector

Pressure switch bad
Compressor has reached automatic
shutoff pressure
Low voltage
Wrong gauge wire or length of extension

Shorted or open motor winding
Defective check valve or unloader

why problem happened
Allow compressor to cool for 30 min-
utes, then reset
Take compressor to service center
Release air from tank until compressor
starts automatically
Call an electrician
