DISPLAYING DIAGNOSTIC SCREENS

Displaying the Diagnostics Information screens
The Diagnostic Information screens provide "read-only" information about the configuration of the
set-top. For example, information on addressing, memory, current channel, status information, etc.
First of all, make sure that the set-top is connected to the TV, and set the TV to its appropriate input.
Ensure the set-top is on (the light around the POWER button on the front panel should be green).
To display the Diagnostics Information screens:
Press and release the POWER button on the remote control, then immediately (within 2 sec) press
and release the SELECT button.
The DIAGNOSTICS DASHBOARD (see right) is displayed on the TV.
From the DASHBOARD, you can press the L button to display the DIAGNOSTICS MAIN MENU
(see right).
Use the L button to toggle between the DIAGNOSTICS DASHBOARD and MAIN MENU.
To use the Diagnostics Information screens:
In both these menus, use the U and D buttons to move the on-screen cursor through the items,
then press SELECT or R to view more information in sub-menus. (In the DIAGNOSTICS MAIN
MENU you can use the remote control to key in the 2-digit number of the sub-menu to display it.)
To remove a sub-menu and return to the preceding level, press the L button.
To remove the DIAGNOSTICS DASHBOARD (or MAIN MENU), and return to normal TV viewing,
press the POWER button twice.
