Preparation for Sewing and Checking

• Check that no thread slips off or snaps.
• Confirm that the upper knife moves
against the lower knife correctly by
turning the handwheel slowly towards
you. If it is not correct, check if there is
any fabric or waste thread between
knives.
• Turn the handwheel towards you with
your right hand to check that the thread
winds around the stitch finger of the
needle plate.
If the thread doesn't wind around the
stitch finger of the needle plate, check if
any threads are threaded incorrectly.

• Revise que no haya hilo resbala o se
cortabd.
• Asegure que el cuchillo superior se
mueve correctamente contra el cuchillo
inferior, girando el volante lentamente
hacia Ud. Si el funcionamiento no es
correcto, revise que no haya material
atrapado entre los cuchillos.
• Gire el volante hacia Ud. con su mano
derecha para asegurar que el hilo
enlaza sobre la placa-agujas en la
forma ilustrada.
Si el hilo no se envuelve sobre la placa
agujas, revise el trayecto del
enhebrado, para ver si todos los hilos
están en su ubicación correcta.
