Wiring Harness

Heavy-Duty Trailer Wiring
Package
The harness has a seven-pin
connector and is attached the rear
bumper beam next to the inte-
grated trailer hitch.

The 7-wire harness contains the
following trailer circuits:
• Yellow: Left stoplight and turn
signal
• Dark green: Right stoplight and
turn signal
• Brown: Taillights
• White: Ground
• Light green: Back-up lights
• Red/Black Stripe: Battery feed†
• Dark Blue: Trailer Brake†*
†The fuses for these two
circuits are located in the engine
compartment fuse block. The
wires are not connected. See
your dealer or a qualified service
technician to have the wires
connected.
*If you are charging a remote,
non-vehicle battery, turn on the
tow/haul mode to boost the
vehicle system voltage and
properly charge the battery.
