CAUTION
If the seatback isn't locked, it
could move forward in a
sudden stop or crash. That
could cause injury to the person
sitting there. Always push and
pull on the seatback to be sure
it is locked.
6. Make sure that the seatback,
when returned to its original
position, is securely locked in
place.
7. Return the safety belts to their
original positions so they will
be available for the rear seat
passengers to use.
Section 2
CAUTION
A safety belt that is twisted or
improperly attached or routed
won't provide the protection
needed in a crash. The person
wearing the belt could be
seriously injured. After raising a
rear seatback, always make sure
that the safety belts are not
twisted and that they are
properly attached and routed.
