During startup, if additional draft is needed,
allow the door to remain open approxi-
mately1/2 inch. Once the draft is established,
close and securely latch the door to prevent:
• Spillage of smoke, fl ame and carbon
monoxide
• Spillage of sparks, coals and logs
• Over-fi ring
DO NOT leave the stove unat-
tended with the door open
