How the drain pump operates

The components of the drain pump are the:
Water reservoir
Circuit Board
Water lever switches 1 & 2
Water Drain Pump
OPERATION
All water coming from the overflow, and from the melted ice is
collected inside the water reservoir.
As soon as the water in the reservoir reaches the maximum level,
the water lever switch 1 will close, transmitting a low voltage
current to the circuit board. The circuit board activates the water
drain pump for 20 seconds, pumping out most of the water
contained in the reservoir.
If the water lever switch 2 closes, it will transmit a low voltage
current to the circuit board. The circuit board activates the buzzer
alarm, informing the user that the drain pump, water lever switch
or drain tube is malfunctioning. If this happens, power the unit off
and back on. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
