NOTE: The front main and rear seat box assem-
blies can be removed together. If both
assemblies are being removed, skip to step
16.
15. Remove the screw, indicated by the arrows in Fig-
ure 2.30, that secures the left side of the front main
assembly to the rear assembly using a 1/2" wrench.
16. Support the deck so that the weight is removed from
the deck lift system.
NOTE: The deck can be removed, however deck
removal is very laborious and it is much sim-
pler to lower the deck onto a 4x4.
17. Remove the three hex screws, indicated by the
arrows in Figure 2.31, using a 1/2" wrench.
18. Remove the two screws that attach the right front
finger guard to the rear assembly using a 1/2"
wrench.
NOTE: If the front and rear assemblies are being
removed together, skip to the rear seat box
section of this chapter.
19. Remove the two hex screws, indicated by the
arrows in Figure 2.32, the attach the right side of the
front assembly to the rear assembly using a 1/2"
wrench.
20. Lift the front main seat box assembly off of the
mower.
