External flash shooting

In addition to the camera's built-in flash capabilities, you can use any of the external flash units
specified for use with this camera. This enables you to take advantage of a wider variety of
flash shooting techniques to suit different shooting conditions.
The external flashes communicate with the camera, allowing you to control the camera's flash
modes with various available flash control modes, such as TTL-AUTO and Super FP flash. An
external flash unit specified for use with this camera can be mounted on the camera by
attaching it to the camera's hot shoe. You can also attach the flash to the flash bracket on the
camera using the bracket cable (optional).
