5.9.18 Skipping Blank Pages from the Scanned Data

The scan process can be set to skip any blank pages in the scanned data.
For example, when a stack of documents containing both two-sided and one-sided
documents is scanned in duplex scan mode, this feature removes only the reverse side
(i.e. blank page) of one-sided documents from the scanned data.
1. Select [Blank Page Skip] under [Page] on the scan settings window.
 The [Blank Page Skip] window appears.
2. Specify whether to detect and delete blank pages, and specify
[Sensitivity] for detecting blank pages.
3. Press the [OK] button.
 The information entered is set.
