d. Short Load
i. Verify the amplifier survives a condition for sine-wave output at
10Vrms/1kHz driven into load of R = 10milli-ohm.
9. Front Panel LED's:
a. Verify Ready LED on when amp is on, off when in stby
b. Verify Signal LED off with any input signal below 2 milli-V rms and on
with any input signal greater than 5 milli-Vrms.
c. Verify –20dB LED off for any amplifier output voltage below 10 volts and
on for any amplifier output voltage greater than 12volts.
d. Verify –10dB LED on when 30, off when 33Vrms
e. Verify Clip LED on when input signal =5Vrms and off when input
signal=1Vrms
f. Verify Thermal LED on when 40Vrms into 2 Ohms (after 10 Sec) and off
when Vout= 0
g. Verify Fault LED on when ?? and off when ??
h. Verify Bridge LED on when dual/bridge switch in bridge mode and off
when in dual mode.
i. Verify Power LED on when rated line applied and power switch on.
Verify Power LED flashing at approx 1 flash/second when power switch =
on and applied AC mains less than 85% of rated.
j. Verify Data LED on when PIP Data input toggled high and off when PIP
Data input toggled low.
10. Quiescent Power Draw
a. Verify less than 25 watts when amp is on and in standby.
b. Verify less than 40 watts when amp is on and ready.
11. High Pass Filters:
a. Verify frequency response within 0.25dB of flat curve.
b. Verify frequency response within 0.25dB of 35Hz curve when HPF switch
set to 35Hz.
c. Verify frequency response within 0.25dB of 70Hz curve when HPF
switch set to 70Hz.
d. A minimum of two points on each curve should be verified.
12. Input Sensitivity:
a. Verify amplifier voltage gain from balanced input to output is 26 +/-
0.5dB when sensitivity switch set to 26dB mode.
b. Verify amplifier voltage gain 31 +/-0.5dB for CTs600 and 34 +/-0.5dB for
the CTs1200 when sensitivity switch set to 01.4V for 4/8ohm mode mode.
c. Verify amplifier voltage gain 34 +/-0.5dB when sensitivity switch set to
1.4V for 70V mode for both CTs600 and CTs1200.
d. Measured from balanced input to amp output terminals.
