Configuration
The ÉPIX™ Tile 2.0 receives both power and data from the ÉPIX™ Drive
642. Each ÉPIX™ Drive 642 can power and control four ÉPIX™ Tile
2.0s.
The ÉPIX™ Tile 2.0 connects to the ÉPIX™ Drive 642 with shielded
twisted pair cables terminated with RJ45 connectors. The cables and
connectors must have a minimum specification of Cat5. These cables are
not included, but are easily obtained at any electronics or office supply
store.
The ÉPIX™ Drive 642 has four RJ45 ports, one for each ÉPIX™ Tile 2.0.
·
The cables between the ÉPIX™ Tile 2.0s and the ÉPIX™ Drive
642 must be shorter than 10 m (32 ft).
·
Only a single ÉPIX™ Tile 2.0 can be attached to each RJ45
port on the ÉPIX™ Drive 642.
ÉPIX™ Tile 2.0s are configured with the ÉPIX™ Drive 642, and the
configuration settings depend on the communication protocol being used (Art-
Net™ or Kling-Net). In either case, the Choice Pixel option on the ÉPIX™
Drive 642 must be set to 48x12. For more information about configuring the
ÉPIX™ Drive 642, see the product's User Manual, which is available on the
Chauvet web site at
literature/. Art-Net™ is designed and copyrighted by Artistic Licence Holdings
