Practicing a Song

This section explains useful functions for piano practice on the HP 535/335; we hope
that you will try out these in practice as you read the descriptions of these features.
Listening to One SongÑ Playback/Stop
Before playing a song, try listening to it a number of times to get an idea of the songÕs feel.
Metronome
1.
Press the [Song] button.
2.
Using the Value [+] and [-] buttons, select a song.
The number changes by one each time the button is pressed. Holding down the button
causes the numbers to change continuously.
3.
Press the [Play] button, and the song starts playing.
4.
Pressing the [Play] button once more stops the song.
NOTE
When songs with pickups (songs that don't start on the first beat) are played back, the measure
numbers are indicated in the display as ÒPU,Ó Ò1,Ó Ò2,Ó...(HP 535 only).

For the titles of the internal songs and their composers, please refer to the ÒList of song TitlesÓ
(p.62).
