Power Management Setup

The Power Management Setup Menu option is used to change the values of
the chipset registers for system power management.
ACPI Standby State (S1/POS)
This item allows you to select the standby type under ACPI operating system.
USB Device Wakeup Function (Enabled)
This item allows the activity of the USB device to wake up the system from S3
(Suspend to RAM) sleep state.
Re-Call VGA BIOS at S3 Resuming (Enabled)
When set to disabled, the VGA BIOS will not be initiated thus minimizing the
S3 wake up time.
Power Management/APM (Enabled)
Set this option to Enabled to enable the chipset power management and APM
(Advanced Power Management) features.
Video Power Down Mode (Suspend)
When enabled, this option allows the VGA adapter to operate in a power sav-
ing mode.
Disabled Monitor remains on during power-saving modes.
Stand By Monitor blanked when system enters the stand
by mode.
Suspend Monitor blanked when system enters the sus-
pend mode.
Hard Disk Power Down Mode (Stand By)
After the selected period of drive inactivity, the hard disk drive powers down
while all other devices remain active.
