Listening in Virtual Surround Headphone mode
• The Virtual Surround Headphone mode simulates 5.1 channel surround sound, which allows you to enjoy 5.1 channel
surround sound through 2 channel headphones, just like listening from 5.1 channel speakers.
NOTES :
• Virtual Surround Headphone mode can be selected only when all the speakers are switched off.
• When listening to music files from the USB mass storage device, the Virtual Surround Headphone mode cannot be selected.
• Select the Virtual Surround Headphone mode.
Adjusting each channel level with test tone
• The volume level of each channel can be adjusted easily with the test tone function.
1.
Enter the test tone mode.
• The test tone mode is displayed and will be heard from the
speaker of each channel for 2 seconds as follows:
FL → C →
FR
Front Left
Center
Front Right
SW ← SL
Subwoofer Surround Left
• When the speaker setting is "N (None or No)", the test
tone of the corresponding channel is not available.
NOTE:
※The test tone function does not work as expected if :
• All the speakers are switched off.
• USB IN or 6CH DIRECT INPUT is selected as an input
source.
• If the unit is in the STEREO or the 2CH DOWNMIX
mode.

Surround Right
• Then"VS HP" is displayed and the Virtual Surround
Headphone mode is selected.
• To cancel the Virtual Surround Headphone mode, press the
STEREO MODE button.

For each channel, adjust the level as desired until the
sound level of each speaker is heard to be equally loud.
• You can select the desired channel with pressing the ▲/
▼ buttons.
3.
Cancel the test tone function.
