PROXIMITY TO SIDE CABINETS
1. This range may be installed directly adjacent to existing 36"
(914 mm) high base cabinets.
Range dimensions:
• width: 36" (911 mm)
• depth: 25" 1/4 (641 mm)
• height (without backguard): MIN 35" 7/8 (911 mm) - MAX
36" 1/2 (927 mm)
• backguard (height): 3" (76 mm)
• island trim (height): level with cooking hob
Note: the backguard is supplied with the appliance while the
island trim is available as a separate kit.
Gas line opening: The gas supply connection must be loca-
ted within a zone starting 2" 3/64 (52mm) from the right side
wall and extending 13" 3/16 (335mm) toward the center of
the range; and from 10" 33/64 (267mm) to 11" 9/64 (283mm)
from the fl oor, depending on adjustment of the feet.
Grounded outlet: The electric cord with 3-prong ground plug
(NEMA 5-15P) has a length of 72" (1830 mm). The grounded
outlet must be located within a zone starting 2" 3/64 (52mm)
from the left side wall and extending 18" 9/16 (472mm) to-
ward the center of the range; and from 6" 17/32 (166mm) to
7" 11/64 (182mm) from the fl oor, depending on adjustment
of the feet.

2. The range CANNOT be installed directly adjacent to side-
walls, tall cabinets, tall appliances, or other side vertical sur-
faces above 36" (914 mm) high.
There must be a minimum of 11" 13/16 (300 mm) side cle-
arance from the range to such combustible surfaces TO
THE LEFT or TO THE RIGHT above the 36" (914 mm) high
countertop.
IMPORTANT: One side (left or right) above the 36" (914
mm) high countertop must always be kept clear.
Island installation: There must be a minimum of 12" (305
mm) clearance from the rear of the island trim to such com-
bustible surface behind the range above the 36" (914 mm)
high countertop.
3. The maximum upper cabinet depth recommended is 13"
(330 mm). Wall cabinet above the range must be a minimum
of 30" (762 mm) above the countertop for a width of minimum
36" (911 mm): it has to be centered with the range. Side wall
cabinets above the range must be a minimum of 18" (457
mm) above the countertop.
4. Air curtain or other overhead range hoods, which operate
by blowing a downward air fl ow on to a range, shall not be
used in conjunction with gas ranges other than when the
hood and range have been designed, tested and listed by an
independent test laboratory for use in combination.
