3 LED Lamp

The lamp on the Brother TD-4000/4100N indicates the current operating condition.
Lamp
Not lit
Green lamp is lit
Green lamp is flashing
Orange lamp is lit
Orange lamp is flashing
Red lamp is lit
Red lamp is flashing
Power is OFF.
Power is ON.
Receiving data from PC.
The RD Roll compartment cover is opened.
(Close the RD Roll compartment cover correctly).
Cooling
(Wait for temperature of print head to lower, and printing will
continue).
Firmware upgrade error.
(Please retry the firmware upgrade procedure).
Indicates one of the following errors.
• Label sensor error (End of RD Roll or label jam)
• Incorrect RD Roll installed
• Transmission error
