Mantel Column Clearances

Combustible mantel columns (legs) that protrude more than ¾" (19mm) from the glass frame
require a 5" (127mm) clearance to the side of the fireplace.
Combustible mantel columns (legs) that protrude ¾" (19mm) or less from the glass frame must
meet the facing clearances (minimum 2-1/4" (57mm) clearance to the side of the glass frame).
Non-combustible mantel columns do not have a minimum clearance.
