Connecting an HDMI audio system
One HDMI cable (type A connector)
AV amplifier corresponding to ARC
Left side of TV
HDMI's ARC (Audio Return Channel) feature
This feature enables the audio signal of the TV to be
sent to the AV amplifi er via the HDMI cable.
It will not be necessary to connect a cable from the
audio output of the TV to the audio input of the AV
amplifi er to reproduce the audio received from the
tuner of the TV through the AV amplifi er.

HDMI device
For proper operation, it is recommended that you
use a short HDMI cable.
HDMI cable transfers both video and audio.
Note:
Some HDMI devices may not be able to operate
properly with the TV.
Connecting your TV
Connecting a DVI device
One HDMI (type A connector)-to-DVI adapter cable
and audio cables.
HDMI (type A connector)-to-DVI adapter cable
For proper operation, the length of an HDMI-to-
DVI adapter cable should not exceed 3m. The
recommended length is 2m.
Standard analogue audio cables
An HDMI-to-DVI adapter cable transfers only video.
Separate analogue audio cables are required.

Selecting the PC/HDMI 2 Audio mode

You can select PC audio or HDMI audio when using
this function.
