8.4 Chassis Power Connections

Use the following procedures to connect the MS-7206 to a power source after you have
installed the chassis in a rack.
Refer to Chapter 11 on page 79
are using an appropriate power source.
Observe the following before you start:
• Refer to
connections.
• Keep the MS-7206 power switches in the OFF position until you come to the procedure
for turning on the power.
• If the power source has a switch, keep it in the OFF position until you come to the
procedure for turning on the power.
• Use the included power cord for the power connection.

8.4.1 Power Connections

The chassis uses two power supply modules. These modules are redundant, so if one power
module fails the system can operate on the remaining module.
