FIREBRICK INSTALLATION AND DAMPER OPERATION

A. Tilt and install the right rear
fi rebrick against the wall.

and secure under the
retaining bracket.

Install the middle and left
rear fi rebricks.
Install the remaining top fi rebricks,
securing under the retaining
brackets. Install the andirons into
the bottom fi rebricks.
To close the damper, pull the damper control rod down and
push it to the right.
To open the damper, push the damper control rod to the left
side and release.
NOTE: The damper must be in the "OPEN"
position when burning.
OPEN
NOTE: If damper becomes unthreaded it will
remaining situated in the "OPEN" position.
C. Install the bottom
fi rebricks to aid securing
the rear fi rebricks against
the wall.
