LOSS OF ALARMS/DATA — Use the ApexPro Telemetry
Server with ApexPro V3.5 ONLY with CIC Pros running
ApexPro V3.3. ATS V3.5 is backward-compatible with ApexPro
V3.3 ONLY Other previous versions of ApexPro are NOT
compatible with ATS V3.5. In-unit compatible sharing of the same
care unit names between ATS and ApexPro devices having
incompatible software versions can result in lost or corrupted
telemetry alarm defaults data and loss of audible alarms.
LOSS OF FUNCTION/EQUIPMENT FAILURE — Only
external devices specifically designed to be connected to the
ApexPro Telemetry Server, or approved by GE Medical Systems
Information Technologies for use with the ApexPro Telemetry
Server, should be connected, as specified in this manual or as
otherwise specified by the manufacturer. Loss of telemetry
function or equipment failure could result if this instruction is not
followed.
SHOCK HAZARD — Connect only approved devices to the
ApexPro Telemetry Server according to the instructions in this
manual. A shock hazard may exist if external devices are
connected differently from described in this manual, or as directed
by the manufacturer.
EQUIPMENT FAILURE — External equipment must be
connected to the Pro ApexPro Telemetry Server only by qualified
biomedical engineering personnel. Loss of telemetry function or
equipment failure could result if this instruction is not followed.

LOSS OF FUNCTION — All external cabling used with the
ApexPro Telemetry Server must be routed so as not to interfere
with access or operation of the system.
TRIPPING HAZARD/LOSS OF FUNCTION — All cabling must
be installed to protect against tripping and accidental
disconnection of the cables.
ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE — The ApexPro Telemetry Server
is static sensitive and should be handled using precautions to
prevent electrostatic discharge damage. Equipment failure could
result if this instruction is not followed.
