7. External Control Connector (25-pin D-Sub Female) Use CAT6 cable. Maximum length is 0.5m. Provides external connection points to control AT-DMM828 using NOTE: Use high quality CAT6 cable when linking mixers. Signal contact closures degradation will occur with low quality cable or connections resulting in communication errors between mixers.
Connect a standard 9-pin RS232 type data cable (or USB cable) between the computer and the RS232 port on the back panel (the USB port on the front panel) of the AT-DMM828. If multiple AT-DMM828s are linked together, connect the data cable to the master unit in the linked chain.
