■ The follow ing part s are required for
adjustment
1. Antenna connector adapter
The antenna connector of this radio uses an SM A terminal.
Use an antenna connector adapter [SM A(f) – BNC(f) or
SM A(f) – N(f)] for adjustment. (The adapter is not provided as
an option, so buy a commercially-available one.)
2. Repair Jig (Chassis)
Use jig (part No.: A10-4082-03) for repairing the TK-2160.
Place the TX-RX unit on the jig and fit it w ith screw s.
The jig facilitates the voltage check and protects the final
amplifier FET w hen the voltage on the flow side of the TX-RX
unit is checked during repairs.
3. Battery Jig (W05-0909-00)

Connect the pow er cable properly betw een the battery jig
installed in the transceiver and the pow er supply, and be sure
output voltage and the pow er supply polarity prior to sw itching
the pow er supply ON, otherw ise over voltage and reverse
connection may damage the transceiver, or the pow er supply
or both.
When using the battery jig in user mode, the transceiver
assumes that a lithium-ion battery pack is attached to the
transceiver. In adjustment mode, battery type detection is
not performed. Refer to page 10 for details.
Note: When using the battery jig, you must measure the
voltage at the terminals of the battery jig. Otherw ise, a slight
voltage drop may occur w ithin the pow er cable, betw een the
pow er supply and t he bat t ery jig, especially w hile t he
transceiver transmits.
