Recharging From a Solar Panel

1. Disconnect any 12V DC appliance and turn the light switch to
Off.
2. Turn the AC outlet On/Off switch to Off.
3. Open and remove protective fi lm from solar cells (fi rst time use
only).
4. Position and angle towards the sun utilizing the mounting pole.
The sun's rays should ideally hit the panel perpendicular to the
panel surface.
5. Attach cable to Duracell
6. Charging begins automatically (check indicator on Powerpack).
Please give it 10 to 15 minutes for suffi cient voltage build up
for charging to commence.
Solar charge times:
40%: 7 hrs of sunshine
60%: 10-12 hrs of sunshine
Note: Charge states up to 60% are easily and effi ciently
achieved in good sunshine. However, charging above 60%
is less effi cient and will therefore charge at a slower rate
and take additional time to reach full charge.
