The Craftsman tractor model 917.25081 may not move forward if the motion control lever is not properly adjusted. To correct this, follow these steps:
1. Lower the attachment lift lever to its lowest position.
2. Move the shift plate on the front of the transmission so that the extruded area is aligned with the dynamic brake arm.
