LP Tank Exchange
•Many retailersthat sell grills offer you the option of replacing
your empty LPtank through an exchangeservice. Use only
those reputableexchangecompaniesthat inspect, precision
fill, test and certify their cylinders, Exchangeyour tank only
for an OPD safetyfeature.equipped tank as described in
the "LP Tank" sectionof this manual.
•Alwayskeep new and exchangedLP tanks in uprightposition
during use, transit or storage.
•Leaktest new and exchangedLPtanks BEFORE
connectingto grill.
LP Tank Leak Test
,Leak test must be repeatedeach time LP tank is exchanged
or refilled.
•Do not smoke during leaktest.
•Do not use an open flame to checkfor gas leaks.
•Grill must be leaktested outdoors in a well-ventilatedarea,
away from ignitionsourcessuch as gas fired or electrical
appliances.Duringleaktest, keep grill away from open
flamesor sparks.
•Use a clean paintbrushand a 50/50mild soap and water
solution.Brushsoapy solutiononto areas indicatedby arrows
in figure below. Leaksare indicated bygrowing bubbles.
If"growing" bubblesappear do not use or movethe LP
tank. Contactan LP gas supplieror your fire department!
Connecting Regulator To The LP Tank
1. LP tank mustbe properlysecuredonto grill. (Refer to
assemblysection.)
2. Turn all control knobsto the OFF position,
