Surface Mount Speakers
Thank you for selecting this Posh
high-performance speaker. Posh has
gained an enviable track record
providing professionals with
audiophile-quality speakers for
commercial and residential installations.
Step 1
Decide whether to mount your speakers vertically or horizontally using
the enclosed U-bracket.
Step 2
Unscrew the fastener at the top and bottom of the speaker
and remove the U-bracket.
Step 3
Using the U-bracket mark and drill mounting holes where
you wish to mount your speaker. Attach U-bracket to wall
or ceiling, using appropriate mounting hardware.
NOTE: Construction work for the installation of any Posh
product should be performed by a qualified, licensed installer
and conform to all applicable building codes. A local building
inspector should approve any overhead installations.
Step 4
Strip 3/8 inch of insulation off the wire ends. Secure the speaker wire (positive
+ red or white) and (negative – black or green) under the corresponding input
terminal block screw located on the back of the speaker. When daisy chaining
multiple speakers, twist the two stripped ends of the positive wires together and
secure under the positive input terminal block screw. Then twist the two
stripped ends of the negative wires together and secure under the negative
input terminal block screw.
