Setting the number of rings to answer

1.
Press MENU and then +/- to select

Press MENU and then +/- to select

Press MENU and then +/- to select the rings to answer. (4 options are available:
SAVER,
3
RINGS,
4
RINGS, and
4.
Press MENU to save the setting.
NOTE
If the
TOLL SAVER
setting is selected, the Answering Machine will pick up after three rings if
there are new messages. If new messages have not been received, it will answer after five
rings.

Announcement

This is the message your callers hear on the Answering Machine. There are two pre-
recorded outgoing messages, or you can record your own custom message.
Recording the announcement
1.
Press MENU and then +/- to select
2.
Press MENU and then +/- to select ANNOUNCEMENT.
3.
Press MENU to select RECORD.
4.
Press MENU and then +/- to select the answer mode
5.
Press MENU to start recording after the beep.
6.
Press MENU again to stop recording and save the message. The saved message is
played automatically.
NOTE
You can also record the announcement by pressing and holding Skip Backward/OGM to
start recording after a beep is heard. Press MENU to stop recording and save the message.
NOTE
When playing the recorded message, press MUTE/CLEAR/X/FIND to delete it and the
pre-recorded message will be set automatically.
Playing the announcement
1.
Press MENU and then +/- to select

Press MENU and then +/- to select ANNOUNCEMENT.

Press MENU and then +/- to select PLAYBACK.
4.
Press MENU and then +/- to select the answer mode
5.
Press MENU and the message will be played.
