Playing Discs

Subtitle Menu

By default, subtitles are off. To turn subtitles on, press the SUBTITLE MENU button repeatedly to
select a subtitle language.
Notes: Changing the subtitle language affects only the disc you are currently playing. When the disc is removed
or the player is turned off, the subtitle language reverts to the language setting specified through the DVD
player's main menu.
If the disc doesn't contain the language you select, the disc's default language is automatically selected.
Some discs are programmed to only allow access to the subtitle feature through the disc's menu. To access the
disc's menu, press the DVD MENU button.

Title Menu

Some discs have a Title Menu where you can access the titles. Press the TITLE MENU button to
access the Title Menu. Use the navigation buttons ( , ,
and press ENTER.
Note: This feature is not available on all discs.

Audio Mode Menu (Audio CDs only)

While playing an audio CD, mp3 disc, or WMA disc, you can cycle through the audio modes by
pressing the AUDIO MODE button. The audio modes vary with the type of disc: MONO LEFT,
MONO RIGHT, MIX MONO, STEREO, etc.
Note: DISC NOT SUPPORT appears if the disc does not support the audio mode.

3D Sound

The 3D sound feature is used when you connect your portable DVD player to a two-channel
stereo system. This feature enhances the sound quality and produces a greater simulated
surround effect.
During playback, repeatedly press the 3D button to cycle through the surround effects. The 3D
options appear on the screen.
Notes: 3D Sound only works on discuss encoded with Dolby, Dolby Pro Logic, Dolby*Digital and DTS multi-
channel audio tracks.
DO NOT USE this feature if connecting to more than two speakers.
If connecting this unit to your TV, turn off the TV surround sound and other surround sound effects when using
this feature.

Zoom

The Zoom playback function is used to magnify an image and includes three options (x2, x3, x4).
In addition to magnifying the image, you can pan and scan.

While you're playing a disc, press ZOOM (the player zooms in on the image). Each time you
press ZOOM, the picture is magnified even more.

To see other parts of the picture when you've zoomed in on the image, try pressing the

buttons to go in corresponding directions. This feature is called pan and scan.
