Checking the total number and playing
time of the tracks
Select the disc you want to check, and press ENTER m
the Conhnuous Play mode As the player starts play
automabcally, press • to stop, and then TIME/TEXT
The d1splay shows the current diSC number, total
number of tracks and total playmg lime of the d•sc

Checking the information .of CD-TEXT discs
CD-TEXT d1scs have onformatoon, such as the dose hiles
or arttst names, memorized

a blank space on the
d1scs where there 1s no mformahon on normal dtscs
The diSplay shows the CD-TEXT mformallon of the
dtsc so that you can check the current dtsc title, track
totle and arhst name When you select a CD-TEXT dose,
the "CD-TEXT" ind1catoon hghts up m the dtsplay

TIME/TEXT, the artiSt name scrolls m the dtsplay If
you press TIME/TEXT agaon, the dtsplay shows the
current d1sc number, total number

Selecting a disc on the player
Turn the JOG dial until the diSC number or D1sc Memo
(see page 17) you want appears in the display. Press
ENTER to start play

Locating a disc by scanning each Disc
Memo (Memo Scan)

You can locate a d1sc you want to play quockly by
scanning the DISc Memos (see page 17) on the d1splay
and start playmg.
Note that you cannot use this funcnon on the ALL
DISCS Shuffle Play mode

Press MEMO SCAN.
"MEMO SCAN" appears in the dtsplay, and the
Disc Memos scroll in
the diSplay

Press t> when the Disc Memo of the dtsc you
want to play appears
The diSC 1s set to the playmg pos•llon, and the
player starts playmg.
In Program Play mode, the disc will be added to
the end of the program If you press ENTER mstead

Locating a disc by searching a specific Disc
Memo (Memo Search)
You can search and locate a disc you want by onputtmg
the first character used on the DISc Memo (see page
17)

"MEMO SEARCH" appears on the diSplay
