IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read this user manual carefully before you use this product. Please reserve it properly for reference in the future. Please do not expose the unit in the raining or moist environment to avoid fire hazard or electric shock. REMOTE CONTROL (STANDBY): Press and hold to 1 turn the unit on or set it to standby. TO REPLACE WITH A NEW BATTERY: 1. Remove the battery compartment cover as per illustration on the right. 2. Observing the correct polarity and put a 3Vdc lithium battery (CR2025, not included). 3. Close the cover. Precautions concerning batteries Be sure to insert batteries with correct polarities. Rechargeable and non‐re‐chargeable batteries can be used. Refer to the precautions on their labels. When the remote control unit is not to be used for a long time (more than a month), remove the batteries from the remote control unit to prevent them from leaking. If they leak, wipe away the liquid inside the battery compartment and replace the dead batteries with new ones. Do not heat or disassemble batteries and never dispose of old batteries by throwing them in a fire. SETUPS/CONNECTIONS ASSEMBLY Remove all packing materials and disposal of them properly. LOCATE THE WIRE ANTENNA Unwind the wire antenna and extend it to full length, locate the wire antenna to get best reception. AC OPERATION You can power the radio with the supplied AC adapter. BASIC OPERATION 1. Press and hold the / button to turn the unit ON. 2. Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly to select a desired mode (FM, AUX ‐IN or BLUETOOTH). 3. PLAYING AN EXTERNAL AUDIO SOURCE An external (auxiliary) audio source (i.e., personal CD player or MP3 player) can be connected to this unit. The unit has 2 AUX INs at the back of the unit. 1. Plug one end of the AUX IN cable (included) into the AUX IN sockets at rear of the unit. For AUX‐IN 2, always make sure the white plug is connected to the white socket and the red plug in the red socket. 2.
