Manual reception mode
Set to this mode if you use the SFX-33 mainly for fax transmission,
and wish to receive
faxes only with your initiation. Incoming faxes can be received only after you pickup
the
handset.

Lift the handset when the telephone
rings.
If the call is for a fax transmission
(you hear an incoming fax tone), the SFX-33
receives incoming fax automatically
when the feature switch No. 54 is set to ON (01).
The switch is initially factory-set to ON (01).
Replace the handset after initiating the reception.
When the conversation
is complete, press [START1.
Your caller can start fax transmission
after hearing a fax tone.
Replace the handset.

Note:
If you have a noisy telephone
line, the SFX-33 may not pickup the incoming fax signal
and automatic receiving will not start. Press [STARTl
key to initiate receiving.
